My friend Jamie bought me this vintage White straight stitch sewing machine, model 763.
Made in Japan in the early 60s.
Clean inside and out.
Love the styling, and the feed dogs drop.
It looked barely used.
Came with accessory box and manual.
Even the original needles were in the accessory box, along with an unopened tube of sewing machine oil and an extra bulb.
Stitch length setting.
Rubber tire for bobbin winding.
Even the carrying case is nearly spotless.
Apparently it was known as the "fair lady."
Not a lightweight.
Stitches leather beautifully.
Reminds me of a vintage Electrolux vacuum cleaner.
First time I've ever seen two feed dog settings (Low and High).
