For some reason, Roni had been itching to go fishing for a while, so when the Parks Dept. had a kids fishing derby at Seward Park, we went. For $5, you get a rod & reel (to keep!) and a T-shirt.
Roni catches one! They stocked the swimming area with a few hundred ravenous rainbow trout, fenced in. Sadly, Jackie got skunked.
Roni's first fish. She laughed deleriously as she reeled it in. After I had bagged it, she poked it in the eye a few dozen times.

Roni got a haircut and I foolishly purchased 3 tubes of "hair paint" at the salon. Here, she models her new look.
Perkins Preschool's Open House. The kids sang some excruciating songs. Boring videos were made.
Roni latched onto the word "washable" from her washable markers, figuring it gave her license to draw on herself.
"I'm a pumpkin!"
Better to get it out of her system before she's old enough for tattoos.
