Mongol Rally Day 26: Chinoz to Kazakhstan
We awoke in the morning, hit the border crossing, and got across to Kazakhstan in a mere 2-hours. For us, this is a fast crossing considering our last few have been 6-hrs or so. Along the way we bump into another Rally team who has a few starting troubles with their Ford Fiesta, but get her going and set up camp with us somewhere in the middle of nowhere, Kazakhstan. The next morning however, their car makes it about 15km away from Almaty before finally blowing up. We tow them the rest of the way and drop them at a service station. We find out later they apparently got fixed... but we haven't heard from them since. Hopefully they make it!!
