“Reconstructed Spaces”, is my compulsion to look around spaces close and far, and see it as an ever-moving dynamic display of illuminated images.
How light appears on images at different hours of the day, its altered appearance viewed at different angles, is what intrigues me. We are surrounded by a multi-dimensional panorama of continuous flowing movement.
Everything moves.
The sun, clouds, people, cars, even buildings and structures, inside and out, as they bounce light and throw shadows. And I move around it too.
Movement is the fingerprint of time, weaving through spaces.
It is that elusive 4th dimension - of time, that light the images in front of my eyes, and my attempt to express it on canvas, using time and space as my palette.
