Crazy Pukekos, West Coast, South Island, New Zealand
Driving along a back road I saw this lovely looking old building and thought it worth a look. Expecting to see the old house on its last legs I found it was now a hen house where the pukekos were competing with the chooks for food. Did they fly over the fence to get in .. no... they scrambled up the chicken wire, stole more than a bite and then hiked up to the roof top! So funny that I kept on smiling about it for ages.
