Basement Waterproofing
Homeowners say they have been getting water in their basement for 10-12 years, 2 walls, POURED....have had a handful of so-called experts over,hired one of them a couple years ago to waterproof the exterior 2 walls,still leaked. Then they had a few more experts? over and one of them told them to waterproof 2 exterior walls, $9,000 and they ALMOST bit on that again! They find my number, told them i`ll have to come by,check the inside and then if need be, run a water-test on the outside to help IDENTIFY where the water is truly first-entering,they say ok and. After going inside already know part of their water-entry problems are ABOVE ground level and part JUST below ground level. Run the water,hose-test to SHOW THEM! Run water ground level down FIRST....they get water in UP HIGH on inside poured wall BEHIND fuse box etc. Then run water ABOVE ground,spraying the BRICK and OPEN mortar joints,they get water in,a 2-Part problem.Was that so hard? And where is prior contractor?
