Two things will always happen when we go on holiday. 1. Anma is planning every little detail of what to see. It's wonderful because I just have to tag along.
2. and it will be pi..... down.
So God bless the turist busses. You can always the sights in a city in one day. Some people will then go back to the hotel and have a beer and say done it got the Tshirt. But not this little family. Anma will plan in even more detailed and we will hit the road by foot the next day. Wonderful.

Okay Boys. First stop Brussels' most distinctive landmark - Atomium rising 100 m (325 ft.). Built for the 1958 World's Fair the Atomium represents a atom of iron magnified 165 billion times.
What a nice couch - can'r remember the name and the designer of it.
I just need to test it out before catchung we catch the elevator to the top floor in the Atomium.

We had to wait for a long time for the bus picked us up again. But the weather was nice.

Best thing about Grand Place is all the small chocolate shops in the side streets. Is easy to get samples., so we had our fair share.
You have to bee there at night at grand Place. Difficult to capture the atmosphare on camara.

Next morning at the bakery. We are meeting my collegue Oliver and his girlfriend for brunch at 12. But problem is that we are A people so we had to get breakfast at 8.
Sometimes you just think you have plenty time. This is one of those times. We headed out at 10:45 to find an Art Nouveau shop. We had to get back to the hotel and pick Oliver and Anna up for brunch and check out at 12.

Anma found out that Oliver does not like to have his picture taken. Anna loves pictures of him so Anma was put on a mission - Get pictures of Oliver. You can nearly see the plan breewing in her head.

We visited a tea shop.
Very nice. You could smell all the different tea. And we ended up buying some.

First half of the day program is over. Anna wants to see the Parlament and the European Commission, so after a short rest we head that direction (other side of town)
