I love the wine boxes on these shelves. The shelves themselves are too deep to be useful, so I have my “active” stuff up front in the boxes, and the “inactive” things which are only occasionally needed, behind them and the cookbooks.
I hung my baskets under the existing shelves to hold all the things that normally go in those collapsible wire hanging produce baskets. I like the look of this much better. The clock, by the way, has been moved.
Blurry, but it gives you a reference on the location of everything on that wall of the kitchen.
While not very attractive, this gives me enourmous satisfaction. I put that shelf in so we can put the litter box in the funny little alcove at the end of the hall. We've got the handtruck and ironing board on the shelf currently, though I expect that will change.
