Hello, my name is Samantha, also known as Sam. Don't confuse me for the historical.
To be frank, I don't know how to describe myself.
I was told the Owner would make up my personality, but she's been busy lately.
I tried to just live life with the other dolls, and it has been fun.
But there's only one other doll like me here...
I thought we were going to be close friends, since we're from the same company and all.
Plus, Felicity does look like fun.
But ever since the news of her retirement, she's been depressed.
Nothing was cheering her up, and she barely talks these days.
I had to turn to the photo stories the Owner made about Felicity just to get to know her.
But it was through this that I found out something interesting.
A mystery that Felicity had yet to solve.
"Hey, Megan, has Felicity found out anymore about the Owner's wanted doll?"
"Nope, there hasn't been much progress."
"Do you think Felicity will cheer up if she found out who it is?"
"Maybe. It definitely wouldn't hurt to try. Emo Felicity is really annoying."
So I made my decision.
I was going to get Felicity searching for the identity of the doll again in order to cheer her up.
But first, I had to plant the idea in Felicity's head.
"Hey, Felicity. We better change into our Christmas clothes."
"The Owner made me this really nice Christmas outfit.
What's your Christmas outfit, Felicity?"
"I DON'T have a Christmas outfit. I just wear my shift with a Santa hat.
The Owner said if I couldn't look fancy for Christmas, then I may as well look cute."
"Hey, maybe the Owner is going to get you your Christmas dress this Christmas."
"Hey, you never know.
Let's go check out the tree."
"Now, keep your eye out for a medium sized box. That's what the outfit boxes look like."
"Hey, Sam, is that the size of a doll box?"
"Yeah, looks like it."
"OH MY GOSH! This can't be! The Owner would never get a new doll for Christmas! It would never be worth the trouble!"
"Unless if that doll was her wanted doll."
"Hey...you're absolutely right, Sam!"
"Come on, Sam! We have to find clues for the Owner's wanted doll!"
"We'll probably find a clue if we check our Owner's collection of AG books!"
"Let's see, six Josefina books...four Kirsten books....four Addy books...six Rebecca books...and five Molly books."
"Wait, I have a sister?"
"So Felicity? Any ideas?"
"In terms of books, it's either Rebecca, Molly, Josefina, Addy, or Kirsten."
"So how do we pick one out of the bunch?"
"WAIT! I know who it is!"
"A few months back, I found Laura strangely familiar,
but I didn't know why."
"But now I figured it out!"
"She has Molly's hair!"
"The Owner must have noticed this,
so she bought Laura to act as a replacement for Molly!"
"But now that Molly is under the tree, the Owner finally has her wanted doll!
Gosh, I am so clever!"
"Are you sure it's Molly?"
"Sure I'm sure! Who else could it be?"
"You'll see that I'm right when the Owner opens her up on
"Now then, let's go to sleep. The sooner we go to bed, the
sooner we'll wake up and see that I'm right."
I could only hope that Felicity was right.
If she turned out to be wrong, she could end up being even more miserable then before.
The next day...
"Hey guys! Merry-"
"Owner! Owner! Did you open your gifts yet?"
"You got a doll, right? Was it a Molly doll?"
I sat up as soon as I saw the Owner.
I kept on praying over and over in my mind that she got a Molly doll.
"Well, why don't you take a look for yourself, Felicity?"
"I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT ALL ALONG!"
"Yup, you sure did."
"For once, I managed to do something right! Who cares if I
couldn't stop my retirement? I was right about you all along!"
"...Good for you...?"
"Look, weird girl, I still feel kind of lost here. Can you tell me more about this place?"
"Sure thing, Molly!"
"So what do you think of Molly, Sam?"
"She's cool. Shame she isn't your wanted doll, though."
"Yeah, well Santa can't work miracles...wait how do you know?"
"I looked at the details."
"I've noticed you have sewn a lot of pioneer outfits.
I wouldn't have found this strange if you didn't have a replica of Kirsten's meet dress."
"Then there was Laura. While Felicity looked at her braids, I noticed she also had a pioneer-esque outfit."
"Since the album where you got Laura was after Kirsten's retirement,
you must have gotten her as a reminder of Kirsten."
"...Am I right?"
"Good eye, Sam. Kirsten was my wanted doll, and still is.
It'll probably just be a long time before I can get her."
"...That said, don't tell Felicity any of this, okay?"
"I wouldn't dream of it."
