More than 1,000 objects in 4000m²
On 4th November 1922, the British archaeologist Howard Carter discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun intact. It was 3,300 years old! King of ancient Egypt in the XVIIIth dynasty, the pharaoh ruled from 1332 to 1323 BC. His burial chambers have been perfectly recreated for the exhibition “Tutankhamun, his Tomb and his Treasures”. From 20th April to 27th November 2011, you can admire more than 1,000 fascinating replica artefacts spread out over 4,000 m² at Brussels Expo.
