In the special care nursery to determine whether or not she had an infection. Seeing her like this broke my heart and I hated to be separated from her.
I did visit her often in the nursery for the first 48 hours.
Seeing her hand with an IV in it was very upsetting to me. It may have bothered me more than it bothered her! I couldn't wait until it was taken off.
