Wedding Day
We arrived at the resort on Saturday and started on Sunday talking to Peter Jn Paul about our wedding location options. Peter is from St. Lucia and is the assistant executive manager at the resort -- among other things, he handles coordinations of weddings -- and is a great, really funny guy and we had a great time getting to know him. He's a true performance artist. We had to chose from 5 possible locations, and decided to get married at a remote beach that is part of the resort. The resort has a main beach at the bottom of the hill, where there is a good deal of activity, including drink and food service, sailing, scuba, snorkeling, etc. Our wedding spot would be the second beach you reach by boat -- Anse Mamin -- situated at the edge of a rain forest and plantation ruins.
