MOU Signing with Banglalink
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed among Agriculture Information Service (AIS), Banglalink and UNDP supported Access to Information (a2i) Programme of Prime Minister’s Office on September 16 with a view to digitizing the agricultural sector of Bangladesh.
National Project Director of a2i Programme Md. Nazrul Islam Khan, Ahmed Abou Doma, CEO and Managing Director of Banglalink and Md. Nazrul Islam, Director of AIS signed the MoU at hotel in Dhaka.
Under the MoU, Banglalink, with its expertise in telecommunication intends to make all sort of information available all the stakeholders in agriculture. The main objectives of of this MoU will be practically, cost-efficiency and convenience the future for the farmers, agro producers, exporters, importers, entrepreneurs.
