IKA Florida Seminar 2009 (1)

Pictures from the 6th Annual Florida Seminar of the International Kokondo Association (IKA), which took place at the newly expanded main dojo of the Florida Jukido Jujitsu Academies in Palm Coast, Florida. The seminar was hosted by Sensei George Rego, Chief Instructor and conducted by Kaicho Greg Howard - the International Director of the IKA and the foremost authority on the Kokondo arts of karate and jujitsu.

10th Anniversary - Beach Shugyo

The 10th Anniversary Celebration, began with the 2nd annual Beach Shugyo workout. The temperature was 48 degrees, but all had a great time and honored the spirit of what it means to be a Kokondo-ka.

Master Scanlon - Special Evening

Master James Scanlon (5th dan), IKA Assistant Karate Director, visited the headquarters dojo of the International Kokondo Association (IKA) in Florida. It was truly a special evening the brought all members appreciation and understanding of the uniqueness of art to high level. The focus was on Jushin & Body Dynamics - but build into the other principles and the utilzation of motion in both Jukido Jujitsu & Kokondo Karate
