Black Tuesday Protest at Parliament - 22 Nov 2011
Today is 22 November 2011, a day informed South Africans have been dreading…Black Tuesday! The day the same government who fought for freedom against the Apartheid government, wants to censor the media, blindfold the public and hide their corruption. The same government who sings “let us live and strive for freedom” when we sing the National Anthem. The same government who is the main driver behind corruption….
I read through the Bill of Rights and I was absolutely appalled by some of it.
For example:
“11. Life: Everyone has the right to life”. If that is the case, why is abortion legal?
“16. Freedom of expression – everyone has the right to freedom of expression, which includes freedom of the press and other media” but journalists won’t be able to write stuff the public needs to know. From: http://www.baydu.co.za/?p=2912
