Planted in first of July
Corn that was planted in July is growing bigger everyday. Green substance on the ground is grass clippings I am using for mulch.
I have been building the top soil around the roots of the pumpkins and swiss chard. Chard likes the organic matter and the grass mulch around the stems. Originally I had three beautiful pumpkin plants to the left of the chard, as the vines grew the original vines wilted away. As I have built the soil back around the original plants new growth is coming through the mulch.

4 out of the 10 tomato plants Melissa gave me survived. Originally she had planted parsley seed and they came up tomatoes. The are a better boy variety.
Our crate myrtle one year after we got it from my sister. She bought this tree for $1 because it was dying at the garden center. We brought it back to life.
Zoe pulled off one of my 4 remaining cantaloupes and eat it for a snack.
