We find a simple restaurant in Shanghai and Mark get a bowl of beef noodle. He seems happy.
He is showing off his skill of chopsticks.
The landmark of Shanghai. But the banks are closed due to construction.
So people have to take photos far away. Photo taken by Mark

I guess Mark wants to make a picture of “Shanghai at Night”. Photo taken by Mark
The top sign tells us it is a temparay bus stop. The middle one reads “we welcome guests from all over the world”. The bottom one reads(not very clear, I have to guess) “Do not smoke in public places”. Photo taken by Mark
It is all about the skyline, a ghost car and an quasi-invisible human being. Photo taken by Mark
A better view of the same things except that quasi-invisible human being(perhaps now it is truely invisible). Photo taken by Mark
Yet another. Photo taken by Mark
Yes, lots of construction. Whose head is it? Photo taken by Mark

The train is moving very fast. Photo taken by Mark
We are on a traing leaving from Hefei to Wuhan(武汉). Photo taken by Mark
It takes two hours for this fast train. The route is almost a straight line. We even go through big mountains. So a lot of tunnels are waiting for us. Photo taken by Mark
This line was constructed just after my graduation. That means, I could not enjoy the short trip but had to spend 9 hours in another train which avoided the mountains. Photo taken by Mark
Now we can see that mountains are coming. Photo taken by Mark
A close look at the train. One of the fastest in China. The last photo on June 12.

The origin of the name. Photo taken by Mark

In history the tower was destroyed and rebuilt for several times.
Althoght it was built about 20 years ago, but still preserved lots of traditional elements.
Here we are!
The story about the tower. Photo taken by Mark
Wuhan is also called the home of yellow cranes. Photo taken by Mark
The story goes like: the is a god riding a yellow crane and flies away, leaving a tower on the land. Photo taken by Mark
Columns and ceiling is still in the traditional way, although there are two elevators in this tower! Photo taken by Mark
But we decide to climb the stairs. Photo taken by Mark

We are about to enter that temple.
The tablet shows the name of the temple.
On the right it is the main hall.
It says if you can throw a coin into the hole of the top of that incense burner, you will get wealth. Photo taken by Mark
It is a big temple. Photo taken by Mark
Worship is even done outside halls. Photo taken by Mark
And here is one example. Photo taken by Mark
What does he think? So commercial that it is not a place of worship?
Two monks. lol
Behind me there is also a pond, and you can also assume that there are plenty of turtles. Photo taken by Mark
This hall is dedicated to store the Budhism texts. Or it is like a library.
The name is written there. Also the wood sculpture is cool.
In the middle it is still a place for worship, also with some exhibition of some treasures.

Of course there are ships in the river.
It is cool to hang out near the river in the sunset.
We are almost standing in the water.
Ships and the temple.
Many people are hanging out in the park on the bank of the river. They even play badminton when it is dark. Last photo on June 14.
We are about to leave for Beijing(北京). So it is the last photo of us in my house.
We are at the Wuhan Railway Station. Lots of people are waiting for their trains.
It is time for boarding. The last photo on June 15. We are going to spend the night in the train.
