Beans, baby Cedar Waxwing
The dried beans are a-comin' in! And the Cedar Waxwings, who practically live in our elderberry bushes, had babies recently. This one was rescued by a Melrose teacher, who brought it to us, who returned it to the White Pine tree here. Momma waxwing soon appeared and fed her hungry little offspring.
