LHC Open Day 2008
On the 6th of April 2008, the CERN organized an Open Day to explain to the public how the Large Hadron Collider works, what is its purpose and much more.
I'm very thankful to the scientists at CERN, who decided to open the doors to their installations and who took the time to organize that day, to prepare the visits of the various experiments, the conferences and to answer the questions about their work in a crystal-clear way. I couldn't see it all, but I was so thrilled by what I could visit. Thank you very much to all CERN people :D What you're doing is just, simply, absolutely, BRILLIANT !
Notice : as I'm not a physicist, the information I give with the pictures might not be as accurate as it should be. I tried my best to remember everything that was explained by the scientists of CERN.
