This circa 1885 photo was taken of the livery stable on South Cherry Street in Eaton Ohio. If you look closely you can see faint outlines of the signs' lettering.
Early spring 2010 before restoration work was started. Notice the roof, which would not drain correctly due to sagging. We found the old hand painted signs under newer siding shown in this picture and under old metal signs from the early 1900's.
