Great to be in Arizona in February.
The safety meeting is over -- now for the games!
Quite the ensemble -- flowered hat, mink stole, six-guns, long guns, and ammo.
Reining a galloping horse with one hand and shooting with the other. Truly amazing to hit anything, let alone 12 targets.
The twelve targets require changing guns during the high speed run. She didn't miss any. She scared me a little.
Contestants are judged on both time and accuracy.
At all stations they empty both six shooters, a rifle, and double barrel shot gun that requires reloading multiple times to hit all targets. They must move from area to area within the station to access all targets with the appropriate weapon. Looked like half of the participants were women. Kinda strange to see Grandma neatly putting away her weapons after shooting.
There were many lady contestants.
Two social butterflies among the serious players.
Teen getting ready for her "up."
I'm told this family is from Sweden. Nine-year-old (out of frame) was the youngest contestant.
Found Gabby Hayes. No Roy or Dale.

We stuck with pulled pork and cowboy beans. I wore a little more modern cowboy attire. Everyone wore protective eyewear.
Fun "oldtime" cowboy show, like you used to see on TV as a kid.
Reichen was invited to take part.
