Edwin Bogucki Arabian Mare Medallion. This is the same as the previous one, but with a darker background, black pigment added to body for a darker bay look, and muzzle and marking done in oils to add a little more detail.

Sarah M-B Flower Medallion, done in layers of pastels. Even the flowers and leaves were painted in watered down pastel. Mane finished in watered down ink, and eye in acrylic. I think I've added more to the muzzle since this photo, but haven't taken a new one, since for some reason this medallion does not like photos.
This is a medallion that came out just for the RESS Summer Fun Medallion Exhibition. It's a beautifully made and detailed medallion by Sarah M-B. I painted it in pastels, oils, inks, acrylics and colored pencils with a watercolor background. The left horse is a flaxen chestnut overo(no it doesn't have mapping and neither did the real horse) and the left is a rose grey. Both horses were taken from a calender that had incredible close-ups of these horses, and I think it must be over 20 years old, and from Germany. I don't remember the breeds, but they could be Mustangs.
Sarah M-B Reflective Medallion. Started in colored pencil on the face, layered with oil washes, then oils on muzzle and hairing done oils to a dark dappled rose grey. Acrylic background and eye.

Frodo medallion by ???. I redid the background adding a plaster rough finish to avoid having to fill a million and one pin holes.
