Rebuilding the orchid collection after the winter kill.. don't ask
The little banana tree in the lower right was found in my compost bin. I had chucked out the a dead (I thought) banana plant and I found this little guy in the pile in May. A bit pale but alive. It's very healthy now and growing.
Cut the aluminet to allow the roof windows to open. This time I used tiewraps to secure the window open. If you don't, you'll probably lose the window to a wind gust.
Exhaust vent in the SE peak of the GH. Note circulating fan. It's plugged into the exhaust fan circuit so it comes on the same instant the exhaust fan comes on. The exhaust fan is hooked up to a thermostat.
My dragon fruit cactus. It was only about 6" tall a year ago and now it's spreading everywhere.
