Katherine to Alice Springs Itch-hiking, with Yvonne!

I started itching at 9am at the exit of Katherine. Tasmanian Yvonne took me at 10.30 (ouf!) and lifted me over 4 days through a couple of road houses, and the Devil Marbles. She was particularly nice (though 63 years old).

Edith Falls with Belgian couple

Before splitting with Julien&Elodie, I met Ine, and Jonas, who kindly accepted to lift me to Katherine, through Edith Falls. And what a wonderful spot!!! I can't believe I would have missed it even though I passed 3 times in front of it.... Enjoyed the swim, jumps, Belgian company, and bushcamp!

Going south to Pine Creek (again!). We met some 13 other people (mostly french&swiss), and drank somehow out of Kakadu in Pine Creek. The day after I left Julien&Elodie, going North while I'm heading to Alice Springs.

Arnhem Land

Aboriginal land! First went there on a Open day (permit required otherwise), then met Queenslander Thomas (a prehistoric one!), who met an aboriginal elder who said we could stay a couple of days. He sent us to a beautiful remote waterfall... until the rangers came and kicked us out. We had a wicked time!

WA21. Eighty miles beach (19 June)

Stayed at the camp ground of Eighty Miles Beach, first time I set up the tent since early February! Nice place, hips of people. No town nearby, but the camp ground is so big it's like a town itself.

Second day after the National Park camp ground (no electricity, nothing! But still $10. For us 3..). The other parts were not as exceptional, but still nice! This is where we splitted with Sylvestre and Raphael. (They hit the road to get in Broome in just 2 days!)

Clifton Gardens - First walk with Kadi

Sunny day, Kadi showed me a beautiful remote beach of hers, 15 minutes from her place (Mosman). We walked from there to Balmoral beach (less than 1 hour), it was beautiful... Especially since earth and water were interlaced everywhere we looked!
